About our school

School statement

Quandialla Public School is a small rural school located in southwest-central NSW. The school is a member of the Lachlan School Education Group.

The school mission is "Together we provide opportunities to succeed". The school has a strong tradition of student success in academic, sports and co-curricular areas. Students consistently achieve success in swimming, athletics, public speaking, debating and eisteddfods.  

Our students achieve success at local, regional and state levels and are acknowledged as responsible citizens within the community.

Quandialla Public School provides a high quality and comprehensive education in a dynamic learning environment, enabling students to complete schooling from Kindergarten to Year 6 on the one campus.

Our students are taught by highly qualified and experienced staff. Areas of staff expertise include literacy and numeracy; creative and performing arts; music; technology in teaching and learning, and vocational education. Secondary staff is experts in their subject areas.

The students study the NSW Board of Studies curriculum. Students learn in technology-rich classrooms where the integration of technology in teaching and learning is a feature. Our focus is on providing a curriculum which is relevant, engages students and addresses their individual needs.

Quandialla Public School provides a safe and caring learning environment for students. The proactive Learning Support Team coordinates resources to ensure students' individual learning needs are met. Our student welfare system provides ongoing support to students and families.

The school is very well resourced and has excellent facilities. All teaching areas have wireless internet access and technology for teaching and learning. Secondary students utilise laptop computers in all courses.

Facilities include extensive and attractive grounds; school library with extensive resources; Stephanie Alexander Kitchen/Garden and indoor sports facilities. A well equipped swimming pool is adjacent to the school.

The community values the school highly and strongly supports the school. The local Parents and Citizens Association is proactive and involved in decision making.

The school motto is "Supremo Peto" – aim high. Our families expect students will be successful and the school works in partnership with them and the community to ensure students achieve their potential.
