School statement
Quandialla Public School is a small rural school located in central-west NSW. The school is a member of the Temora Network with affiliations with Forbes Small Schools and Young Small Schools.
The school mission is "Together we provide opportunities to succeed". The school has a strong tradition of student success in academic, sports and co-curricular areas. Students consistently achieve success in swimming, athletics, public speaking and debating.
Our students achieve success at local, regional and state levels and are acknowledged as responsible citizens within the community.
Quandialla Public School provides a high quality and comprehensive education in a dynamic learning environment, enabling students to complete schooling from Kindergarten to Year 6 with an independently run pre-school operating on site 3 days a week.
Our focus is on providing a curriculum which is relevant, engages students, addresses their individual needs and challenges them to achieve their educational potential.
Students learn in technology-rich classrooms where the integration of technology in teaching and learning is a feature. All of our learning spaces feature an interactive touch screen with each student able to access a laptop and an iPad.
Quandialla Public School provides a safe and caring learning environment for students. Through small class sizes and support staff, we are able to ensure students' individual learning needs are met. Our student welfare system provides ongoing support to students and families.
Being a former central school, our campus is very well resourced and has excellent facilities. Students have access to a hospitality kitchen, indoor basketball/netball/tennis court, library, science lab, art room, vegetable garden, agriculture plot and computer lab.
The community values the school highly and strongly supports the school. The local Parents and Citizens Association is proactive and involved in decision making.
The school motto is "Supremo Peto" – aim high. Our families expect students will be successful and the school works in partnership with them and the community to ensure students achieve their potential.
