QUANDIALLA CENTRAL SCHOOL
NAPLAN RESULTS – 2009
No. 1 in the Lachlan SEG for Numeracy Improvement (Years 5, 7 and 9)
No. 1 in the Lachlan SEG for Overall Literacy Improvement
(Years 7 and 9)
No. 1 in the Lachlan SEG for Reading Improvement
(Years 7 and 9)
In 2009, the students in our high school (year 7 and 9) have improved their literacy and numeracy capabilities at a greater rate than students from any other high school in the Lachlan.
Our NAPLAN results have been exceptional in many areas this year. For the students in years 5, 7 and 9, we are able to evaluate data relating to each students improvement over the past two years.
We are able to compare the progress of our students against local schools, of which, there are 16 Primary, 6 High and 1 Central School in the Lachlan School Education Group. We are also able to measure our progress against all or the other schools in NSW. It gives me great pleasure to announce that our students were ranked No.1 in the Lachlan for improvement in numeracy in all three year groups.
Congratulations to the students, teachers and parents of the students in years 3, 5, 7 and 9 for the outstanding results gained in this year's series of NAPLAN tests.
